Robogals is an organisation run entirely by students and early career professionals. The group’s goal is to encourage a more diverse range of people to study and work in STEM fields. Robogals aims to achieve this by offering free workshops to young people and providing positive role models. In the EMEA Region we currently have 13 chapters, each of which is tied to a university.

EMEA Regional Executive Officer

As EMEA Regional Executive Officer your role would be to coordinate with and mentor the other members of the regional team. You would also be the point of contact between the EMEA region and the global team.

The EMEA regional team is a remote team. Any individual taking up the role has a great opportunity to meet like minded people across multiple organizations who are passionate about diversity as well as establish contacts within businesses.

The Regional Executive Officer’s responsibilities will include:

This is an unpaid voluntary role and we are looking for someone who can commit roughly 5-7 hours a week, has lots of enthusiasm and is keen to learn new things. This role is open to all genders if you are interested in applying please contact: ceo@robogals.org

EMEA Regional Mentor

As a regional mentor your role would be to support and offer guidance to a subset of the region's chapters. This would involve meeting with them over Skype/Google Hangouts once a month and being on hand to answer questions and offer advice. You would also be their representative at a Regional Level. This requires you to provide feedback on how chapters are doing, any queries they may have and what support you think they need from the organisation in order to succeed.

You would be part of the EMEA regional team. This is a remote team but you would be in regular contact with members of the team. Any individual taking up the role has a great opportunity to meet like minded people who are passionate about improving diversity in STEM.

The Regional Mentor’s responsibilities will include::

EMEA Treasurer

As EMEA Treasurer you would be in charge of maintaining our accounts. This role would be well suited to someone well organised who is keen to learn more about finance and budgeting.

You would be part of the EMEA regional team. This is a remote team but you would be in regular contact with members of the team. Any individual taking up the role has a great opportunity to meet like minded people who are passionate about improving diversity in STEM.

The Treasurer’s responsibilities will include:

EMEA Partnerships Manager

As EMEA Regional Partnerships manager your role would be to look into funding opportunities so that we can continue to offer free workshops. You would also work to make connections with partners that have similar goals to us that Robogals could collaborate with.

You would be a part of the EMEA regional team. This is a remote team but you would be in regular contact members of the team. Any individual taking up the role has a great opportunity to meet like minded people across multiple organizations who are passionate about diversity and establish contacts within businesses. This role would be well suited to someone in education looking to bridge the gap between studying and future employers.

The Partnerships Manager’s responsibilities will include:

No previous experience necessary, just lots of enthusiasm and a desire to learn new things. This is an ideal opportunity for someone keen to meet new people and stay up to date with what’s happening in industry. This is an unpaid, voluntary role and we are looking for someone who can commit roughly 3-5 hours a week. This role is open to all genders.
